I am a native of this great city of Shelbyville. I was born twice here, both by the awesome person of Jesus Christ (Jn.1:3, 3:3-8). I graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1993 where I played basketball and baseball. During those high school years God also introduced me to my wife Danielle. I met her on a Friday night at her parents house and that following Sunday I met and accepted Jesus Christ into my life. I call that weekend the “greatest weekend of my life” because I met the two greatest people in my life. I couldn’t live life without them. God also has blessed us with two wonderful children, Lydia and Lucas. God enabled us to adopt Lucas in June of 2009 from the Ukraine. We believe that God prepared our family for this specific mission. God did some great and awesome things for us before, during, and after the process. For everything I give Him all the glory and praise. I also have the great privilege of being the lead pastor of a great church. I feel like I’m the most blessed person on the planet and all because of Jesus. |
