I grew up in the Catholic faith. I went to church as often as I could and I truly believed that I knew the Lord. It was not until the age of fifty when Genell and I were married and we had to decide where we would place our faith. We started to go to Hopes Point and that is when I realize that there was more to Christianity then just attending church. At Hopes Point during a revival week, I gave my life to my Lord and my Savior Jesus Christ. It was not until five years ago that I was baptized by Pastor Andy at Hopes Point where I had accepted the Lord. At Crossroad Community I am now part of a loving and accepting family of God. I am a steward for the Lord and I wish to serve Him in whatever capacity He chooses to have me serve. Jim Martin
